Upload is not working, Browser jumps to another screen
Symptoms:
Under some configurations/versions of operating systems/browsers your browser may jump to another screen after choosing a file to upload.
Or you choose a file to upload, but the upload never happens.
Solution: In such cases the following steps usually work:
- Log out of BASEC, quit your webbrowser
- Clear your browser's cache and delete either all cookies or all cookies related to BASEC (it's easier to just clear all cookies, but this usually leads to a logout of all other online-systems you are currently logged in).
If you don't know how to do this, please contact your local IT-support. - Restart your webbrowser
- Go to the BASEC portal and log into your account
- Go to Manage my applications, click on Continue below your project
- Try again to upload/update your project
